TOPJET’S EXPERIENCE AT LIGNA 2023 TRADE FAIR

After four years since its last in-presence edition, LIGNA 2023 could only be marked by truly impressive numbers: 1,300 exhibitors from 50 countries presented the most advanced woodworking solutions to more than 80,000 visitors from 160 countries.

The event certainly did not disappoint the expectations of either visitors or exhibitors who, like Topjet, were able to showcase cutting-edge solutions for users who want to achieve competitive yet sustainable production.

Recognizing LIGNA’s position as the world’s leading woodworking exhibition, Topjet decided to present visitors with the added technological innovation and multiple solutions available from the DecorJet printing system, a SUPPLEPRINT single-pass inkjet machine made specifically for high-resolution printing on wood and its derivatives, as well as flat and thin materials.

This printing system is ideal for imprinting on wood an image that perfectly matches the chosen layout, mainly due to the amount of piezo heads used.

In fact, Topjet chose to bring Decorjet to the LIGNA edition both to showcase the excellent printing applications it can offer on a variety of materials such as plywood, chipboard, OSB boards and laminates, and to popularize the development of technologies for printing on wood, a highly ductile raw material that can be recycled, with a full green perspective and support for the circular economy.

The choice proved to be a winning one as the turnout at the booth was uninterrupted and significantly intense from the very first day of the event. Of particular interest were the excellent results obtained on the print samples that were made in real time and according to visitors’ requests.

Several business relationships were intertwined that will surely serve as fertile ground for expanding our business network in already known markets and in markets yet to be explored.
