The HR UV inkjet printing systems enable the coding of any type of packaging or moving object by means of alphanumeric writing, barcodes, logos and clipart.

The UV inks are extremely suitable for inkjet application on surfaces such as plastic, glass and wood.

Each project is fully customised, from the production speed to the position and number of printheads and the shape of the object to be marked.



HR UV series (4 colour process) inkjet high resolution printing systems allow coding any type of moving packaging material or item through alpha-numeric texts, linear barcodes, 2D codes, logos and clip art. The result is a print with brilliant and resistant colours, the optimal result is achieved on light surfaces. Acrylic-based inks (in the 4 bases: cyan, magenta, yellow and black) allow application on porous and non porous surfaces such as paper and cardboard (both non-glossy and glossy), wood, glass, metal, fi lms, plastic materials, ceramics, and bricks.

After the printing phase, the ink is treated with a UV curing led lamp; in this way it is possible to avoid any problem related the ink drying on the print heads and into the hydraulic circuit. The excellent hydraulic circuit allows to provide printing system able to print on vertical or horizontal surfaces. These systems use 510 dot print heads and a 180 dpi (dots per inch) resolution, thereby obtaining a printing area 71 mm maximum height for each head.

Reliable and versatile thanks to the piezoelectric DOD (drop on demand) technology, they are the ideal solution to meet various printing requirements, as they can manage multiple print heads, which can be either freestanding or coupled together. This option allows extending the print height up to 16×71=1136 mm, treating the printing layout as a single entity.

As a matter of fact, the software divides the printing layout into stripes, which are transmitted to the print heads so as not to create defects on the contact lines between them
